Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Gaming Smartphone with 48MP Rear Camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chipset Launched in India
Xiaomi backed brand Black Shark has launched the new gaming smartphone in India, dubbed as Black Shark 2. The smartphone comes in two color options: Shadow Black and Frozen Silver, and it will be available for sale on Flipkart from June 4. The gaming phone is priced at Rs 39,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the top variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 49,999.
The Black Shark 2 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED TrueView display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 403ppi of pixel density. The gaming smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC, and with an Adreno 640 GPU. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie, and it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a dual rear camera setup, with 48MP primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, and a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, there is an 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Black Shark 2 gaming phone comes with a Liquid Cooling 3.0 technology, that is design to 20 times more efficient in heat dissipation. The smartphone has a Magic Press pressure sensing technology, which enables customization in pressure sensitivity on the display. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming to deliver the best mobile gaming experience.
The Black Shark 2 smartphone is fueled by a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.
