Samsung Galaxy A71 Launched with Quad Cameras, Snapdragon 730 SoC

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A71 in India, the latest addition to its A-series smartphones. Today’s announcement follows the launch of Galaxy A51, which was brought to India a few weeks back. The new smartphone carries the company’s promise to let the consumers do more with their smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Highlights:

The Galaxy A71 features an Infinity-O Display for the enhanced viewing experience, and sports a quad rear camera setup with 64 MP primary shooter. The phone has Android 10 along with its proprietary One UI, a Snapdragon 730 processor and 4500mAh battery. It carries some unique Make for India Alive features, designed specifically for Indian users.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Price in India:

The Samsung Galaxy A71 price in India has been set at INR 29,999 for the only variant introduced in Indian markets. The phone is available in Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Silver and Prism Crush Black colours. A71 will start selling from February 24 on Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House and all the leading online portals.

Globally, the Samsung A71 was launched in 2 variants – with 6GB RAM and with 8GB RAM. Both variants come with 128GB of storage. But in India, only one model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage has been made available.

Samsung Galaxy A71 Camera:

Galaxy A71 features a quad rear camera setup, sporting a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens for low light photography. It is paired with a 12-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens.

These cameras are supported by a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens, along with a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 macro lens. At the front, the phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 lens.

Samsung Galaxy A71 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display, with 20:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2400 pixels resolution. The dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top, and supports a full Samsung Pay. The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.

The new smartphone comes with 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

It’s Make in India features include multilingual typing, along with visual cards integrated within the text messaging app. The phone has Finder app for searching content across entertainment, e-commerce, food, and travel domains, and a Smart Crop feature for editing, saving and sharing screenshots.
