Samsung has launched its much awaited mid-range smartphone Galaxy A70 in India. The phone comes in Black, Blue, and White color options, and is priced at Rs 28,990. The device will be available on Flipkart, Samsung website, retail stores and Samsung Opera House from May 1. Samsung will be taking pre-booking of the new smartphone from April 20 to April 30. Customers, who pre-book the Samsung Galaxy A70, will get Samsung U Flex Bluetooth headset worth Rs 3,799 at only Rs 999.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, with 20:9 aspect ratio, and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI on top.
The Galaxy A70 comes with a triple rear camera setup, which combines 32MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone has a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The company has included an intelligent scene optimizer. It can analyze the scene across 20 mode, and adjust the brightness, colors and contrast to optimize the image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 has Widevine L1 Certification for HD video streaming. It comes with Dolby Atmos, which offers 360 degree surround sound experience. The device is backed by a 4500mAH battery with 25W fast charging support. The smartphone has in-display fingerprint sensor, and it comes with a USB Type-C port.
