Samsung has supplemented its A-series smartphone family with the launch of the Galaxy A70 in South Korea. The main highlight of the Galaxy A70 is its tall cinematic infinity display, large battery, in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 32MP triple rear camera. There is no word yet on the launch date and pricing of the smartphones. The device will be available in Black, White, Blue and Coral color options.
Samsung Galaxy A70 features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, with 20:9 aspect ratio, and a premium gradient glasstic design back. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 670 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM options, and 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 512GB. The device runs latest Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung One UI on top.
Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a triple camera setup. It combines 32MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP (123 degree field of view) ultra wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth camera. The smartphone has a 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The primary camera comes with Samsung’s AI-based Scene Optimizer, that recognize up to 20 scenes.
Galaxy A70 is fueled by 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, which is similar to Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. For security, the smartphone comes with an in-display finger print sensor and face recognition. The Samsung One UI also brings a system wide night mode, App Timer, Samsung Health, Samsung Pay and Bixby.
