Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Launched with Android Go Edition in India

Samsung has launched a new entry-level smartphone, dubbed as Galaxy A2 Core with Android Go Edition. The device is priced at Rs 5,290, and it comes in two colors – Black and White. The phone is available for purchase from offline stores.

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core features a 5-inch qHD TFT display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset, paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

For camera department, the Galaxy A2 core comes with a 5MP single rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. At front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone runs Android 9.0 Pie (Go Edition) out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is fueled by a 2600mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Glonass, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Dual-SIM, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB 2.0. The dimensions of the smartphones are 141.6 x 71 x 9.1mm, and it weighs 142 grams.
