Xiaomi has launched the upgraded version of Redmi Note 7 in India, named as Redmi Note 7S. The phone is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM variant, and Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM model. The device comes in Red, Black and Nebula Blue color options. It will be available for sale on Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home Stores and Mi preferred retail stores in India from May 23 2019.
The Redmi Note 7S features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Dot Notch display, with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2340×1080 pixel resolution, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on front and back. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset, paired with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage respectively.
The Redmi Note 7S is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, that combines 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor that features PDAF, EIS and AI Portrait Mode. For the front, Xiaomi has added a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Redmi Note 7S is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 supports. The smartphone comes with all sensors like fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, distance sensor, and an electronic compass sensor. For Connectivity options, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C port. The device measures 159.2×75.2×8.1mm.
