Xiaomi has launched Redmi 7 in China with a starting price of 699 Yuan (Rs 7,100 approx). The Redmi 7 is the upgraded version of Redmi 6 launched last year. The smartphone comes in three variants, 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage priced at 699 Yuan, 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage priced at 799 Yuan, and lastly 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage version priced at 999 Yuan. The device comes in three color variants Red, Blue and Black. However, there is no information about its India launch, but we expect it to arrive soon.
Redmi 7 features a 6.26-inch HD+ water-drop notch display, with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone comes in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options with 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage respectively, which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
The Xiaomi Redmi 7 sports a dual rear camera setup, which combines 12MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP secondary sensor. The smartphone has an 8MP front camera with some preloaded feature like AI Smart Beauty, Selfie Timer and AI Face Unlock.
Redmi 7 has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10, and it is fueled by a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support. The device comes with a P2i splash-resistant coating. It’s connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, USB, IR blaster, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi and 4G VoLTE.
