Poco X2 with 120Hz Display, 64 MP Camera launched in India

Poco X2 is here finally, after being teased for the last few days. The new smartphone by Poco, previously Xiaomi’s sub-brand, was launched a while back today for Indian markets. As it appears, the new smartphone is believed to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G, and carries similar specs set and price.

Poco X2 Highlights:

Poco X2 prides itself on a 120Hz display and dual punch-hole for selfie cameras. The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 730G chipset under the hood. It features 64MP quad rear cameras, a powerful 4,500mAh battery with 27W fast charging, and POCO launcher.

Poco X2 Price in India, Availability:

The Poco X2 price in India has been set as Rs. 15,999 for the base model of 6 GB + 64 GB. The price of the 6 GB + 128 GB variant has been fixed at Rs. 16,999. The top variant with 8 GB + 256 GB is priced at Rs. 19,999.

Poco X2 will start selling at 12 noon on February 11th on Flipkart. The phone has been launched in Phoenix Red, Atlantis Blue and Matrix Purple colours. As a launch offer, ICICI Bank debit and credit card users will get an instant Rs 1,000 OFF.

Poco began bringing its offerings to India last year, with the launch of Poco F1 at a starting price of Rs. 20,999. The phone performed well in the market, and was made more attractive for the users with multiple some price cuts, and is available currently at Rs. 14,999.

Poco X2 Camera:

The highlight of Poco X2 camera setup is the presence of dual selfie cameras, featuring a 20-megapixel primary camera, paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the rear, the smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup, featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera. It is supported by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Poco X2 Specifications:

The Poco X2 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display, with a dual hole-punch design and 20:9 aspect ratio. The IPS LCD screen has a resolution of 1080×2400 px, and 395 PPI. The phone gets a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back and front.

The smartphone runs an Android 10 out-of-the-box, with MIUI 11 on top. It is built on a gaming-centric Snapdragon 730G processor, paired with Adreno 618 GPU and 6/8 GB RAM. It comes in variants with 64/128/256 GB storage, expandable up to 512GB using a microSD card. The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with a 27W fast charging.

The device comes with a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For connectivity, it has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, Dual-frequency, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and IR blaster. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a large earpiece with stereophonic audio.
