Oppo Reno 3 Pro, the latest addition to Oppo’s elaborate Reno series, has been launched in India. The new mid-range smartphone comes as a fine-tuned version of the Reno 3 Pro 5G that was released in China in December. Oppo also brought out Oppo Kash, company’s financial services platform to rival similar products launched by its competitors.
Oppo Reno 3 Pro Highlights
OPPO Reno 3 Pro brings along a lot of high-end features at a premium price tag. It comes with a bezel-less gradient finish, excellent six-camera setup, massive storage and a strong battery backup. But the defining feature to pride itself upon is a 44 MP dual hole-punch selfie camera and capability of acquiring up to 108 MP images.
Oppo Reno 3 Pro Price in India & Offers
The Oppo Reno 3 Pro price for the 128GB storage variant has been fixed at Rs. 29,990. The price of its 256GB storage variant meanwhile is set at Rs. 32,990.
As a launch offer, there is a 10 per cent cashback on Reno 3 Pro for HDFC Bank card users. The cashback offer and a zero down-payment option will be available for 3 days through offline stores, along with complete damage protection.
Amazon and Flipkart pre-orders will offer a 10 per cent instant bank discount on HDFC Bank cards and Yes Bank credit cards. Also on offer with the phone, are Oppo wireless speakers at Rs 1 and the Enco Free truly wireless headphones for a price of Rs. 2,000.
Oppo Reno 3 Pro Availability
The two variants rock the popular sky-inspired version in “Auroral Blue” colour, in addition to “Midnight Black” and “Sky White” variants.
Reno 3 Pro 128GB storage model will start selling from March 6, and its Pre-orders are already available in India. However, the company has not announced the sale date of the 256GB storage variant yet.
Oppo Reno 3 Pro Camera
Oppo Reno 3 Pro comes with the quad rear camera setup. The highlight of the setup is the primary 64-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 lens. A 13-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture supports the main camera, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel mono sensor. The rear cameras come with 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
For selfies, the smartphone features the dual selfie camera setup, with that wonderful 44-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.4 lens, paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens.
To support the camera setup, Oppo Reno 3 Pro packs AI-based Noise Reduction, a Multi-frame composition, and an Ultra Night Selfie Mode. It also has Video Zoom, Video Bokeh, and AI Beauty Mode for video recordings.
Oppo Reno 3 Pro Specifications
Oppo Reno 3 Pro is a dual-SIM (Nano) runs Android 10 with ColorOS 7 on top. The screen is a 6.4-inch 20:9 1080p OLED panel with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The full-HD+ display has a resolution of 1080×2400, and 91.5 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The device comes with the new octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC.
The Oppo Reno 3 Pro has 8GB of RAM, and 2 variants of 128GB and 256GB onboard storage respectively. 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port have been provided for connectivity. The phone is powered by a 4,025mAh battery, with fast charging provided by 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 technology.
The Reno 3 Pro feels slimmer and lighter than most of its peers, at 8.1mm thick and 175g. And obviously, unlike China’s Reno 3 Pro 5G, this phone does not support 5G.
