Oppo F11 Pro was launched in March 2019. After a price cut, the smartphone is now priced at Rs 20,990 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 23,990. The phone comes in Aurora Green and Thunder Black color option.
Vivo also launched Vivo V15 in March 2019. It comes in three color options; Glamour Red, Royal Blue and Frozen Black. The phone is priced at Rs 19,990 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option.
Both the smartphones are available at eCommerce websites such as Flipkart, Amazon, PayTm Mall etc., and are quite popular. Today we compare both on their specifications and performance.
Design and Display:
Oppo F11 Pro comes with a gradient finish at rear panel, which offers a combination of different colors. The smartphone looks premium and sturdy in hand and we can say it is one of the best beautifully designed smartphone from Oppo. The device comes with gentle curves around the edges that make it easier to hold in hand. Vivo V15 is slightly larger, and also comes with a gradient finish at back with curved edges, which make it relatively comfortable to hold.
Both devices have a great design but Oppo F11 Pro looks more premium than Vivo V15.
Oppo F11 Pro features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, while the Vivo V15 is equipped with 6.53-inch Ultra Full View Full HD+ display with resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, 90.95 percent screen to body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Both the smartphones come without a notch. Both the smartphones offers vivid colors, great viewing angles, and good amount of brightness level.
Overall, both smartphones offer good display with less bezel, but Vivo V15 is slightly ahead with a Gorilla Glass protection and good amount of brightness level.
Performance and Software:
Oppo F11 Pro and Vivo V15 are both powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor ( Compare with Snapdragon 660 ). Both devices are able to handle app switching and multitasking without any lag. Gaming experience was quite decent and similar on both smartphones. Both devices can handle casual gaming as well as graphic intensive games like PUBG and Asphalt 9 equally well.
The Vivo V15 runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie, while the Oppo F11 Pro runs Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0 0n top. Both devices come with some preinstalled apps.
Overall both phones perform almost equal in terms of performance and software.
Vivo V15 features a triple rear camera setup, with 12MP primary lens with f/1.78 aperture, 8MP ultra wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The smartphone has 32MP pop-up front camera with f/2.0 aperture. While the Oppo F11 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup, that combines 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, and 5MP depth sensor. On the front, F11 Pro has a 16MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Both the phones can capture decent pictures and selfies, with good amount of details and natural colors. But Oppo F11 Pro rear camera is slightly ahead in terms of details, colors and decent low light images, thanks to its 48MP Sony sensor. While the Vivo V15 32MP front camera performs better in terms of detail, great color reproduction, and edge detection.
Battery & Connectivity:
The Vivo V15 comes with a 4000mAh battery with Dual-Engine 18W fast charging support. While the Oppo F11 Pro has a same battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. Both devices lack the USB Type-C port. Both devices have a rear mounted fingerprint sensor but Vivo V15 does not support face unlock option. Oppo F11 Pro comes with a Hybrid SIM Slot while Vivo V15 has Dual SIM support.
Both the smartphones look beautiful in terms of design, but we have found Oppo F11 Pro looks more premium than Vivo V15. In addition, both offer great display, performance, camera performance and battery. So, either of these smartphones are good buys, and only some of the specifics like glass protection, SIM slots etc. can help decide one over the other.
