LG introduced its premium smartphone LG V50 ThinQ 5G at MWC 2019 in February. Now the company reveals that the smartphone will be available from April 19, with a starting price of 1,119,000 won (approx. Rs 73,000) for South Korean market. LG is offering a Dual Screen accessory for free till May, and after that user will have to purchase it separately. The dual screen attachment comes with an additional 6.2-inch OLED Full HD+ display for better gaming and multi-tasking experience, and will be priced at 2,19,000 won (approx. Rs 13,000).
The LG V50 ThinQ 5G is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset, with Snapdragon X50 modem for 5G connectivity and faster Adreno 640 GPU. The smartphone comes with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The phone features a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, HDR10 support and 538ppi pixel density. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
For the camera, the LG V50 ThinQ 5G comes with a triple camera setup. It combines 12MP primary sensor with f/1.5 aperture, a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 16MP 107-degree wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture. For the front, the phone has a dual camera setup with 8MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, and a 5MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture.
The LG V50 ThinQ 5G is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. For connectivity options, it includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0. The smartphone comes with a MIL-STD 810G certified build, and it has IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
