LG has launched a new entry level smartphone in Brazil, dubbed as LG K12+. The smartphone packs a lot of features like AI enhanced software and premium audio at a mid-range price. The device comes in Platinum Gray, Black and Moroccan Blue color options, with a starting price of R$ 1,199 (Rs 21,200 approximately).
LG K12+ features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is the biggest let down considering the price of the smartphone, where other smartphones offer a Full HD+ display at the same price point. The smartphone comes without a notch. The device is powered by an octa-core Helio P22 chipset, paired with 2GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card.
The K12+ comes with a single 16MP rear camera with LED flash, and an 8MP front camera with LED flash for selfies and video calls. The smartphone has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The device has a power button on the right side and the left side has a dedicated Google Assistant button just below to volume controls.
The LG K12+ is fueled by a 3000mAh battery, and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The phone comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack with DTS:X 3D Surround Sound support. The device has MIL-STD 810G certification, which makes it more durable.
