Asus has launched its flagship smartphone in India, dubbed as Asus 6z. The smartphone is priced at Rs 31,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 34,999, while the top variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 39,999. The device comes in Midnight Black and Twilight Silver color options, and it will be available on Flipkart. As a launch offer, Asus is also offering a Flipkart’s Complete Mobile Protection at just Rs 99.
Asus 6z features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ NanoEdge display with 2340 x 1080 pixel screen resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 92 percent screen to body ratio, 600nits brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset along with Adreno 640 GPU. The device runs on Asus Zen UI 6 based on Android 9.0 pie.
The Asus 6z comes with a new flip camera mechanism, which flips the rear camera to position it as the front camera. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, and a 13MP ultra wide angle lens with 125-degree field of view and f/2.4 aperture. The same set of cameras can be used to take selfies with the help of flip camera technology.
The Asus 6z is fueled by 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, and it supports reverse charging up to 10W with USB Type-C cable. The smartphone comes with a dual 5-magnet speakers, and it has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
